Configure advanced filters, keywords, users, and roles to automatically ignore translation requests.

⚙️ Translation Ignore Rules

Sometimes, you want to keep your chat clean and avoid translating unnecessary messages. Whether you want to skip bot messages, ignore links, block specific keywords, or exclude certain users and roles, the /ignorerules command is exactly what you need!
Running /ignorerules opens a super easy-to-use, interactive dashboard right inside Discord where you can customize all these filters in real-time.

Here is how you can customize your settings using the simple buttons and dropdown menus on your dashboard:

🎛️ Quick Toggles (Easy Buttons)

  • ⚙️ Feature Status: Turn the entire Ignore Rules system ON or OFF for your server with a single click.
  • 🏳️ Ignore Flags: Choose if ignore rules should also apply when users react with emoji flags to translate messages.
  • 🔗 Ignore Links: Skip messages that contain website links (e.g., https://...) so the bot doesn't translate raw web addresses.
  • 🔤 Exact Match: Choose whether keywords must match the exact word, or if they should trigger even if they are part of a longer sentence.

📝 Ignore Specific Words (Keywords Modal)

Clicking the ➕ Add Keyword button opens a simple popup window where you can type the words you want the bot to skip.
  • How to use: You can add one word, or multiple words at once by separating them with commas (for example: spoiler, !no-translate, bypass).
  • Result: Any message containing these words will be completely skipped by the bot.

👤 Ignore Specific Users (User Dropdown)

Need to stop the bot from translating messages from a specific member? Use the user selection dropdown menu.
  • Great for: Ignoring other Discord bots, webhooks, or members who send spam.

🛡️ Ignore Specific Roles (Role Dropdown)

Choose one or more Discord roles from the dropdown menu to exclude everyone who has those roles.
  • Great for: Excluding moderators, administrators, or special roles that don't need translation.

🗑️ How to Remove Active Rules

Made a mistake or want to change your settings? The dashboard has a 🗑️ Select an item to remove... dropdown list that shows all your active keywords, users, and roles. Simply select any item from this list to remove it instantly!
